“Thanks for the opportunity!” was 19-year-old Antonio’s feedback after making his canvassing debut on July 27 (2008), in 95º heat. He and other members of the Pageland SDA Church, along with guests from the Charlotte Northeast SDA Church, were rejoicing in the fellowship hall. There was great participation from the Personal Ministries Department, the Health and Temperance Department, and especially the Pathfinders.
Doors and stores. These are two of the main areas that literature evangelists meet and greet people with the gospel. Doors refers to door to door canvassing, which the adults worked. Stores refers to canvassing people in parking lots of grocery stores and shopping centers, which the Pathfinders did.
Afterglow. The brilliance of the afterglow was another confirmation that canvassers are co-laborers with Christ and attended by angels. It was definitely a weekend of Evangelistic Empowerment!
