“When it absolutely, positively has to be there overnight.”
Federal Express advertisement
“Each night at midnight, the FedEx hub in Memphis , Tennessee , takes on the appearance of a NASA launch site as hundreds of workers scamper to sort packages arriving on the company’s large fleet of cargo aircraft and forward them to their destinations. Some nights over a million packages must be processed. Every minute counts. A single minute’s delay can mean as many as 20,000 packages will miss the 10:30 a.m. delivery deadline, and each delay costs FedEx money as well as customer satisfaction.” (Quoted from A Daily Dose of the American Dream.)
If FedEx is concerned about the waste of one minute because of the loss of dollars, I wonder how God views it when we delay spreading the Gospel. How many souls miss out on deliverance when the church has a delay? How many are living lives of misery and going to Christless graves because of your delay?
