Twenty-two year-old Ria Ramkissoon was a member of a cult called 1 Mind Ministries. She recently pled guilty to cooperating with other cult members to starve her 1-year-old son for not saying “Amen” before a meal. After his death, Ria knelt beside her son’s corpse, praying for his resurrection.
When the body began decomposing, 1 Mind Ministries stuffed it in a suitcase with mothballs and dryer sheets to cover up the stench. Ramkissoon made her guilty plea on condition that charges be dropped if her son is resurrected.
