Ezekiel 34 is very clear that pastors (shepherds) are to feed the flock. We can point you to several other passages as well. Yet many church members are spiritually starving while feeding the preacher's vision. God has promised that those who hunger and thirst for righteousness will be filled. That's why we need 100 literature evangelists where there is only one! You can feed those who leave the table still hungry.
